CHATSWORTH HOUSE and its SCULPTURES

Chatsworth House and its park are in the Peak District of Derbyshire close to Bakewell.   It is the seat of the Dukes of Devonshire, and has been home to their family, the Cavendish family, since Bess of Hardwick settled at Chatsworth in 1549. The park makes for excellent walking and photography.

Since 2006, in association with Sotheby's, Chatsworth has hosted an outdoor sculpture exhibition called Beyond Limits, from which the photographs below were taken in different years.

In 2013 Chatsworth hosted a special exhibition of sculptures by William Turnbull and, in 2014, an exhibition of works by Michael Craig-Martin.
